WHO WE ARE
Ethur Community Foundation is a community-led philanthropic and grant-making foundation rooted in Abim District, Karamoja, Uganda.
We exist to strengthen trust in local solutions by mobilising, growing, and stewarding community resources in ways that enable people to lead their own development with dignity, confidence, and long-term commitment.
Rather than delivering projects, we serve as a connector, convener, and steward of community-owned resources, supporting locally led initiatives and strengthening

Supporting vulnerable women to strengthen and stabilise their livelihoods through accessible, community-based financing and support.
Growing Resources for Community-Led Change
Women Solidarity Initiative Uganda
Women Solidarity Initiative Uganda (WSI Uganda) is Ethur Community Foundation's mentorship and leadership development initiative.
Through mentorship, leadership development, capacity-building, and learning opportunities, WSI Uganda equips young people and emerging leaders with the skills, confidence, networks, and support to grow and lead change in their communities.
